I've been

looking for a house. No joke, a real (hopefully not live) house. With a yard to plant flowers and vegetables, and a porch to sit on when it's hot, and an extra room to set up my sewing machine, and some trees to keep us cool. Oh yes.

The only problem is that, damn, these real estate people are evil! They don't give no shit about nobody. And the mortgage people aren't any better. Plus, there's like 200 houses for sale in Vallejo right now, and all these buggers with cash that come in and ruin my day. 12 offers on the house I'm looking at right now! You've got to be kidding me.

My latest vision for my life is:

1. Riding my bike to the ferry terminal in the morning
2. Going to downtown San Francisco
3. Working
4. Going home
5. Picking food from my backyard
6. Cooking it
7. Reading a book in a hammock and/or going for a run
8. Eating really delicious ice cream
9. Going to sleep

On the weekends, there will be jam making at my house. Oh yes. I heart Vallejo.

Morgan, Hi! said...

That was my day yesterday!

Sort of.

It definitely involved picking food from somebody's backyard, and peach cobbler ice cream.
