I can't talk about

my personal life right now. I don't know what to say. But I can talk about the news.

I can't believe that Google sold software to China that allows the government censorship of web content. Google, you should be ashamed. Furthermore, I can't believe I didn't know about this until now. Rafael is really skeptical about the media's obsession over Chinese censorship. He thinks it has to do with the U.S.'s record of fear mongering - ya know - creating an enemy where there isn't one in the name of U.S. interests. I don't know what I think. But it seriously distresses me that there are people working seven days a week and sometimes not being paid. That there isn't basic health care (which we don't have either), clean water, but there are these mega malls and giant skyscrapers. Is the wealth being taxed? Why aren't there basic services for civilians? Where are the schools?

Rafael says it may be that China is still in an infant stage with its wealth. It really only became rich in the last twenty years, so it hasn't had enough time to provide humanitarian services. I say, now is the time. Let's see some real displays of wealth - bringing your poorest people out of poverty, instead of a ritzy downtown.

Also, Barack Obama.
- I mean, presidential campaigns suck, hands down.
- But I agree that his comment, "I don't look like all those other presidents on the dollar bills," is a reference to race. Duh.
- I don't agree that he is switching his stance on the war.
- I do think McCain is becoming nervous and is making shit up.

And the other night I heard that Cindy McCain is a bit like an aging Paris Hilton. Which may sound snarky, but is true given their similar biographies.

On a more personal note, I NEED A JOB!
