Being Responsible

Here's what I'm declaring: the 21st century feminist will not be silenced for her choices. She will never be called boring, domestic, ugly, high-falutin', or slutty. No one with any sort of political or social agenda will silence her. Not the punks, the queers, the marxists, the socialists, the evangelicals, the makeup companies, or the nazis.

If she gets married, she will be called heroic.

If she has children, she will be called a radical.

WHATEVER she does, she will be entitled to that choice.

You want to settle down, have 10-thousand babies in the backwoods of Canada? YES!

You want to be a sex-workin' tranny, going down on high-powered wall-street Johns? YES!

You want to marry a stockbroker, start your own hair salon, get regular manicures, eat raw and take yoga? YES!

And if you attempt to tell me otherwise, I won't have it. You can't march in my parade. Or get matching dolphin tattoos with me. And you certainly will not be invited to stay over at my house with 10 rooms, in Florida, right next to Phoenix's house with the castle tower.
