I'm really thankful right now. Here's why:
1. Rafael loves to explore with me.
2. This weekend we went out to Queens' Chinatown. There's lots of places to buy a $6 haircut and dried delicacies.
3. Last weekend, we went to Flushing Meadows park and rented bicycles. I haven't been on a bike in over a year and it felt so good that we're probably going to buy a couple before the summer is over. Also, we discovered that a bus that picks up in front of our house takes us directly to the park. We now have access to two major NYC parks by bus.
4. Rafael is taking off work so we can go to DC next weekend on the Chinatown buses ($20 each way).
5. We have our appointment with immigration this month, which means all the anxiety will soon be over.
6. I'm so stoked about summertime. The really hot and humid and miserable weather hasn't set in yet, so everything seems possible.
7. My new friend and I are thinking to shoot a movie sometime later in the summer.
8. I moved into my new office and the view is incredible.
9. My friends seem happy and well loved and cared for.
